This hotel was a pure delight. The person at the front desk looked up our reservation and said "Oh, you're staying with us for 3 days, delightful!" That was one of the first time's I'd felt welcomed anywhere since landing in Italy 4 days earlier. The check-in went smoothly, someone took us to our room, and wow, what a room! Lots of open space, very large and comfortable bed, a shower that actually had hot water and a drain that drained. A ligth behind the bathroom mirror; another beneath the bed. Little touches that just made the room feel very special. So many switches! While experimenting, I flipped on, and found a skyroof opening overhead :) The architecture of the room was interesting, lots of large wooden beams, windows on both ends of the room, and the TV on the far end of the room, instead of in-your-face. The location was great, with easy walking to lots of interesting places, good food, fun shopping. The price was on par with a modest hotel in the US, but the experience was far superior to most hotels I've stayed in.

Hotel was stunning; staff terrific (thanks especially to Carlos the Bartender and the front desk manager who lent me an iPhone charger); and the location is the best of all worlds — on a charming, quiet street insulated from the tourist hordes but just steps from great restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity with the legendary attractions of Venice short walks away. Especially impressed with Outdoor seating at the front to of the hotel, the Lounge Bar on the second floor, the beautifully appointed Breakfast Room with adjacent “living room”, and proximity to the “St. Angelo” vaporetto stop (boats that serve as incredibly convenient, inexpensive and exhilarating means of transportation on the Grand Canal and Lagoons).

A beautiful warm quaint hotel with excellent staff service, from booking our private boat taxis to cleaning the room and making sure we have fresh towels and even packed breakfast boxes when we had to miss breakfast to catch an early tour. All staff from check in counter, to bar services when collecting free fizzy wine, to breakfast servers and housekeeping were excellent. We will definitely come back again and highly recommend this little gem in Venice to all who want a high quality stay in Venice. Their beds were excellent and highly comfortable and pillows and lines were super clean and of the perfect comfort level. Location is near to St Angelo water bus stop with easy walking distance to Piazza San Marco.

Beautiful and elegant Palazzo that has been turned into a boutique hotel. The location is on a quiet street but only 4 minutes away from San Angelo Vaporetto stop. The rooms and bathrooms are nicely appointed and modern. Breakfast is served in lovely dining room and is very abundant. The staff is very friendly and helpful . There are numerous small restaurants in the area. The location is ideal for exploring Venice but also provides a relaxing reprieve from the crowds. Overall wonderful hotel !

Very beautiful hotel, renewed last year. So clean and nice environment. Smells like parfume inside the property. 😄 Small, not near any canal but if you are looking for a special boutique hotel with good price go for it… Very delicious breakfast by the way. Don’t try to look for another place for beeakfast. Personel was very gentle (except one, explained below).
